This Privacy Policy explains how Jazz Games (“Jazz Games”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Monet mobile application and related websites (collectively, the “Services”), contact our support staff, or otherwise interact with us.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this policy whenever you use the Services.

1. Who we are

Monet is operated by Jazz Games. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at hello@jazzgames.net.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Monet, we may collect:

• Device identifier. An anonymous device UUID we generate and store on your device so we can sync preferences, edit history metadata, and purchases without requiring an account.
• Photos you choose to edit. Photos you capture or select stay on your device for on-device looks, beauty tools, and layers. If you use Style features that require server-side processing, the photo you choose is uploaded briefly so we can return a stylized result. Uploaded photos used for processing are deleted from our storage shortly after processing. Results you save remain on your device unless you delete them.
• Layer & look assets. Downloadable layer artwork and related assets may be cached on your device to improve performance. You can clear this cache in Settings.
• Edit activity metadata. Non-content signals such as which categories or tools you use, so we can understand product usage and improve the app.
• Purchase & subscription data. Processed by Apple and our subscription partner RevenueCat. We receive entitlement status needed to unlock Premium features; we do not store full payment card details.
• Diagnostics & usage. Technical information such as device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, and approximate usage events via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, to keep the app reliable and improve the product.
• Advertising measurement (where permitted). With your permission on iOS (App Tracking Transparency) or via platform settings, we may use advertising identifiers to measure campaign performance. We do not sell your personal information.
• Support communications. Information you send when you contact us (for example by email).

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve Monet (editing tools, looks, layers, Premium features)
• Process Style edits when you request them and return stylized results
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases
• Measure reliability, diagnose crashes, and understand feature usage
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Use
• Comply with legal obligations

Monet creates stylized, artistic photo results. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or identity-verification service.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Services, including with:

• Service providers such as Google Firebase (hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting), Google Gemini (Style photo processing), and RevenueCat (subscription status)
• App platforms (Apple App Store) for distribution and billing
• Advertising partners for install attribution where permitted by your device settings and consent choices
• Legal / safety recipients when required by law or to protect Jazz Games, our users, or others
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Photo processing

On-device looks, beauty tools, and layers process photos locally on your device. When you use Style features that require server-side processing, images are transmitted securely to our backend, processed to generate a stylized result, and then deleted from storage. We instruct our processing systems not to use your photos to identify you as a person beyond generating the requested edit. You can continue using Monet’s on-device tools without uploading photos for Style processing.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate operational, security, and legal purposes. Uploaded photos used for Style processing are deleted shortly after processing. You may request deletion of server-side data associated with your device identifier by emailing hello@jazzgames.net. After deletion, your device identifier may be retained solely so Premium purchases can still be restored.

7. Children

Monet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have such information, contact hello@jazzgames.net and we will delete it promptly.

8. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations in accordance with this Policy.

9. Your choices & rights

• Limit or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings
• Decline App Tracking prompts on iOS
• Clear downloaded layer cache in the app
• Request deletion of your Monet server-side data by contacting us
• Uninstall the app at any time using your device’s standard uninstall flow

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@jazzgames.net.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
